Rencool DRK4 & 7

The Rencool DRK 4 & 7 is an electric compressor drive system for mobile or stationary equipment for suitable air conditioner up to 23000 BTU/hr with the standard DRK7 system

The unit is easily adaptable to most roof mount and split systems that fall into the units specifications for optical cooling capacity. For clients wanting maximum cooling capacity with no concerns of high-energy use, the DRK4 can be manufactured to suit the application with a higher capacity BLDC motor and our larger rotary compressor units. Physical size only varies slightly for a larger cooling capacity system, this type of system cam be configured up 30 000BTU if the client's application allows our system to use the available electrical energy needed to run this high output DC cooling system

The unit can be supplied with the full stainless steel enclosure for a bolt in / plug & play system for a straight forward easy installation. The DRK4 & 7 has a high efficiency BLDC motor connected to the flexible coupling to our optimised rotary vane compressor. The 4-piece mounting assembly gives the unit simplicity with the given strength to handle any type of harsh application

high strength grade (6061) aluminium mounting system and precision alignment for the compressor drive assembly making it low noise and no vibration. Simple electrical connection hook-up with industry standard MIOR air conditioning fittings for the suction & discharge. The controller has single LED diagnostics and no programming required for the installation , which gives the DRK4 a true plug and play experience. Controller is waterproof sealed and installed into a heatsink to combat the wet and hot climates.

This 2-piece patented design gives the DRK4 much greater installation options for those air conditioning installs deemed impossible. The DRK4 has a soft start implement in our software from the controller, so high inrush currents can be avoided. The brushless motor controller delivers the correct amount of input power to maintain the demanded performance when needed.

The DRK4 can be used on all types of applications, system is designed for use while the vehicle is running & stopped or from standby power such as battery's and solar.

DRB-3 Electric Compressor

The DRB-3 is designed to suit small types of mobile & stationary equipment for Australian conditions.

Compact in design and providing high cooling capacity up to 2.5kw. The DRB-3 is the best solution and latest technology in electric compressor air conditioners.

The unit consists of a scroll compressor, built-in sensorless brushless DC motor and external electronics. The scroll compressor is driven by sensorless BLDC motor directly without any coupling, and the motor is driven by external electronics, which feedback signal is from the digital controller.

  • The DRB3 is an electric compressor unit, at 36cc capacity with a BLDC motor and a digital controller to operate the drive system. The electric motor is cooled by the suction flood back to the compressor surrounding the windings of the motor. The unit is compact in design and an easy fitment to most applications.

    The applications are endless for this little drive system. All the installs deemed impossible are now a reality for trades persons. From small ride on lawn mowers, golf buggies, small machinery, truck cabins, sleeper cabins to any type of small cabin application. We are currently doing a contract for satellite and ATM mobile trailers using compressor and normal off the shelf components, as per diagrams.

    Units are available in 12, 24, 48, 72 and 108 VDC, most common is 12 volt, but the 24 volt system has better cooling than the 12 volt

    12 volt are only available in 1kw, 24 volt units come in 1.5kw, 2.0kw and 2.5kw. Units are light weight at 14 kg and have minimal vibration. Units comes with alloy or steel base plate for easy mounting and 4 x 40kg rubber vibration mounts: see diagram

    The DRB3 drive system can be run while moving or stooped, great for double up truck sleepers with 2 drivers, so the sleeping driver can have independent cooling driving or parked up. Great match up with the (RTK4) rooftop, works fantastic using the RTK4 and DRB3 units for a simpler sleeper cab setup. Alternators on small machines must be over 60 amp to cope with the extra load. most times installing a larger alternator is not a real problem. What makes this unit a great device is that it can fill the market hole were a compressor is not a viable option bolted tot he engine, this unit will take its place.

    Note: Limitations of the DRB3 must be considered and the trades person/s must do there mathematics on cooling volume of the cabin and proposed evaporator and condenser system.
